Having worked within the hotel industry in Aberdeen, Alesia's first step into tourism was working as Customer Services Supervisor for a cluster of Aberdeen City and Shire VisitScotland Information Centres. In 2009, Alesia moved to the role of Business Relationship Manager for VisitScotland, responsible for forging good relationships with local businesses by offering marketing opportunities and business advice.

In September 2010, Alesia came to Aberdeen Convention Bureau as Conference Support Manager, again responsible for looking after our industry partners; from conference support services, pre-marketing, delegate accommodation booking services, pre and post social tour programming to any other support our conference organisers may require. She is now our Sales & Marketing Manager.

Alesia's favourite location is Aberdeen's beautiful beachfront and miles of golden sand - they remind her of her childhood raised on South Africa's coast.
